Wow! That is a lot of fun. Great melody and energy, nice tight driving catchy performance. Got more? Where'd you film it? —This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got. |

I believe the song was originally done in the 60's by the Belairs. as for where it was filmed, I was gonna say it looked like the california coast, but then I realized they were driving on the wrong side of the road, and all the signs for citys were in Meters. —Jeff(bigtikidude) |

I think it was originally done under the guise of PJ and the Galaxies, or PJ and Artie. Either way it is still a Paul Johnson tune. —The Exotics 1994-Current Last edited: Mar 27, 2012 09:33:47 |

PJ & the Galaxies had a song titled Tally Ho, but this is a Surf Coasters original and a completely different track. I believe it was on their album Surface Impressions. A great song!! —Ivan Last edited: Mar 27, 2012 09:47:21 |

Steve, they DID!! The two songs have the same title, but they're NOT the same song! Attached is the PJ & the Galaxies version. Ivan |

Thanks for the clarification Ivan. I actually couldn't get the video to load at work, so I was just responding to BTD's post. Lesson learned. PJ and the Galaxies' Tally Ho is also a great tune. I have always wanted to cover that one in the Exotics. Maybe for the SG101 convention.... —The Exotics 1994-Current |

Check out also Andele by PJ & the Galaxies, another great track by them. Their version of Squad Car is really good, too, and you can hear that guitar interplay that Paul always talks about, rather than just the pedal-to-the-metal power of Eddie & the Showmen's version. —Ivan |

yeah, that stuff is great. the harmonies on Tally Ho and Andele are almost baroque in nature. Definitely different than any other 1st wave band. —The Exotics 1994-Current |
