So, the Kill,Baby...Kill! tour is almost completely booked. However, we still have a very unwanted open date on Tuesday, May 8th. We really cannot afford the day off for such a short tour. Logistically speaking, it looks like we need to hit Philly, Washington D.C. or somewhere in Jersey. If there is anything any of you do to help set this up we would greatly appreciate it. As far as Jersey goes, we have tried all of the obvious routes(Asbury Lanes). Being less than two months away, the quicker we can get this booked, the better.

philly and dc are both always so hard. the only club i've had consistent luck with in philly (in previous bands) was a place called the fire here which you may or may not have already tried. they were always the easiest to book for us, though.

Thanks a ton for the info. I filled out their 'form' on the website, which we all know is never a good sign when booking. What happened to the days of getting to speak directly with someone?

Two places on the north NJ coast come to mind.
The Brighton Bar in Long Branch.

And The Saint in Asbury Park.

Try Mojo 13 in Delaware (they have locations in both Wilmington and Newark).

Are you going to be in the Baltimore area? If so, try The Sidebar (just a thought)....

Growlers
Might be worth a shot. Haven't been there, but I know people that have and like it.

Thanks for all of the help, guys. We pretty much filled all of the dates except for our Sunday, which we actually welcome as a night off. I believe I contacted Growlers very early on and didn't get a response.
Motormenace, we actually do have a Sidebar date on Tuesday, May 8th, with a great new surf band called Young Jaguars and Thee Lexington Arrows. We are excited about this one. I just posted a great show bill that they designed over on the KBK tour thread.
