They are now a four-piece, correct? I think that will improve their sound. The fourth member is the new drummer right?

Dave Klein, the drummer for the Bomboras, is now playing keys with them. Norman is still the Ghastly's drummer.

but I may not be as hard core as some on here that listen to tons of surf a day. But I got get my reverb fix once in awhile.

Thats about as freaky as hearing about muscians who dont like to listen to music at all.

I listened to an absolute ton of surf when I was sick but after I started to get better I just stopped listening to it. I have memory/attention problems now due to the drugs they gave me and surf doesn't hold my attention as much anymore. I really really love surf and the sound but I have trouble listening to it.

Well, until then, enjoy the other stuff. Personally, I can't stop listening to The Elected; I ordered their first album the other night, so that'll be good to hear when I get it. I also got a really good Bright Eyes album. I haven't been listening to much surf lately, either.

On the topic of early Ghastly Ones, does anyone have that first ep they put out?

I have everything Bright Eyes has done, including the newest EP which is not yet released. You'll like The Elected's first album. Very different from Sun, Sun, Sun.

I have Ghastly DVDs... to remain on topic. I copied my tank crashing technique from him. He played the strat in one of the gigs...

The 1st 45 ep that the Ghastly Ones did has 3 tracks that are on the 1st cd, and some spooky sound efx.
only reason to get it is for the Haunted Mansion (from Disneyland)
rip off art work.

San Barry video taped at least two of their gigs, so at least two "bootleg" DVD's are floating around. The one with the strat was their reunion show after not playing together in x years. That was the show that Dano from the Nebulas wrote about in the SG101 Yahoo group. You can see Ran, Dano, and Kirstena in that one.
