Permalink "GUITAR THEME": my tribute to Billy Mure a great guitar player and innovator of the 50's

New Topic

Hi all

In 2006, I found out about Billy Mure and someone sent me a couple of his tunes. I loved his style and wanted to play his "Guitar Theme".
I couldn't find a midi file on the web, so I took his original recording and removed the lead, it worked (sometimes it doesn't).

Here it is "Guitar Theme" it's a Les Paul style of guitar piece.
(You will enjoy the last picture of the slideshow).

The challenge here is to guess what type of guitar I used to play this tune.

I have copies of two of his instrumental albums, and both feature some amazing guitar playing. If you can find them, I highly suggest getting them ASAP.
