Vampires Cowboys Spacemen and Spooks: The Very Best of Joe Meek's Instrumentals

I will most likely get it myself but first have to check how many of the tracks I already got on other releases. Anyway, should be great.

There's also what looks like a very interesting Joe Meek documentary in the works. Check out the trailer right here.

wow cool, I'll have to pick that up.

Maybe his secret was he was really a woman.

I doubt he had any secret women since he was gay!

Awesome--it looks like it has everything (or almost everything) off of the Intergalactic Instros comp.

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

There are actually two volumes of Intergalactic Instros although the second seem to be quite rare (I've only got the first volume myself).

I've only ever seen the first one--I had no idea volume 2 existed. I did manage to find a tracklist online, though:

  4. Interpol - Checkmates (1)
  5. Grandfather Clock - Moontrekkers
  6. Detour - Outlaws (1)
  7. Lullaby Of The Stars - Tornados (1)
  8. Lost Planet - Kingsley, Charles Creation
  9. Dance Legless Russian - Williams, Charles
  10. Parade Of Tin Soldiers - Jay, Peter & The Jaywalkers
  11. Saints (3) - Jay, Peter & The Jaywalkers
  12. Bouzoukis - Athenians
  13. March Of The Spacemen - Kingsley, Charles Creation
  14. Big Feet - Magna Delta Jazz band
  15. Midnight In Luxembourg - Blackwell, Charles Orchestra
  16. San Antonio Rose - Outlaws (1)
  17. D'ya Come 'ere Of'n - Tornados (1)
  18. Kennedy March - Meek, Joe Orchestra
  19. Can - Can 62
  20. Elton Boating Song - Williams, Chris

Meek was off his rocker, and I respect that about him. I will pick this up.

Yep, count me in on this one too - sounds like a really cool comp!
