Little Frankie Blandino, great guitarist...

Thanks for that - I'm humbled by it's greatness. Worship

was that the 90's line up?
weird but very cool to see the stand up bass in a Surf band.

Ohhh boy, that's some sweeet pickin. Frankie is one of the under-appreciated guitar slingers of this generation.

Awesome. For me, there are three guys that are the top of the heap of '90s surf: Frankie Blandino of the Fathoms, Phantom Frank Gerritsen of the Treble Spankers (& currently the Phantom Four), and Dalibor Pavicic of the Bambi Molesters. They write amazing songs that fully utilize their considerable technical abilities without it ever seeming like it's about guitar playing. That's musicianship at its best. And all three are Jazzmaster cats! Coincidence? Hmm.....

Thanks for sharing the video!

PS Of course there were many other great lead guitarists in the nineties, many of which I love, but the above three really connect with me....

Totally agree with you on those three Ivan, not only their skill but in writing their own stuff indeed.

The 2 Fathoms cds I own (total 31 tracks) have 29 Frankie Blandino originals!
Great stuff, high quality, very original.

I think Five Fathoms Deep is the best surf tune of the 90s.
Great atmosphere, lovely changes without losing the surf simplicity.
