I've been playing surf guitar for over a decade, and would really like to find some like minded musicians in the San Antonio area that would like to play this style of music. If your interested or know someone who may be, please PM me. Thanks,

David, I've just been waiting for a show to see you guys in action. I'll definitely be there at your next one! I've also been in touch with King Pelican, but unfortunately they were unable to help in the search. San Antonio isn't exactly surf friendly, so finding fans of the style, and musicians at that, are few and far between. But the search goes on... |

There's also the Saturday Night Satellites. We've played with them a few times. The Lowtides (RIP) and Soda Pop Spys (RIP) were also pretty well known in their respective days. The Sand Worms are doing pretty well, I hear. —Ted James Last edited: Dec 16, 2011 13:01:03 |

My sister lived in Schertz until about 6 months ago. There seemed to be some great stuff going on between the two great Texas cities of San Antonio and Austin, and Schertz was right smack dab in the middle of the two. Every time I visited her, there were bands I wanted to see but sadly didn't get out because I didn't know my way around. —Matt "tha Kat" Lentz |

Hey Deepeddy and davidphantomatic can we get together sometime soon and have a beverage and maybe some food? I'd like to organize a instro showcase somewhere between SA and ATX. We could Glenn to sit in with one of our bands. Maybe that could start things up for him. |
