Great set! I love the variety!
(btw Squirrel Nut Zippers are from North Carolina. They used to roll through Atlanta ALL the time, and were always a GREAT band to see live! Their Christmas album has some great high points, but really doesn't hold up to so many other greats.)

well I was close right?
I knew they were from down south.
Back in the mid 90s swing music craze.
there was a series of big free shows at the Virgin Megastore,
where that Dick Dale footage from 94 is from.
I saw Brian Setzer, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and Squirrel Nut Zippers.
All 3 bands were really good, but I thought that the SNZs were the best.
Great musicianship(all the members switching instruments for songs),
fun banter on stage, and a all around good vibe.
They ended the set, and walked off, having not played their hit song HELL,
so there was an encore for them.
They came back on stage all smoking joints.
