I don't know anything about this, I just discovered it today. But it may be a nice resource for musicians:

I just happened to have seen that the Phantom Four are using it:

It changed when creator/animator John Kricfalusi was fired from the show.
Reason: he was a stickler for quality and thus considered "difficult".
Now, back to Soundcloud.

Sir! Yes Sir! I guess shows like the Looney Toons (which I also love) could count as old. Sowwy .

funny you should mention it - I just signed up two days ago...
It's mostly dance music there but the potential for sharing music is good.

I don't know, but SG101 member Wooza is pretty good at the theme song.

On several occassions over the past weeks I've noticed my daughter on her laptop listening to music on a site with these graphical horizonal waveforms. She said it was Soundcloud, and according to her, it's by far the most popular source for music for her and her 18yro peer group. I had heard of Soundcloud but only in passing.
Not that her peer group is our peer group, I created a site and put our tunes out there. It is very pared down, just about music with no frills, extremely quick to create and upload tunes, and allows for higher quality formats - .wav It has that very clean simple image and feel to it, and I think it may be the next "thing" as an internet music platform. ...well, at least my daughter and her friends think so.
Also, I just discovered soundcloud.com is a blocked site at work...reverbnation still is not. I guess it's more popular than I thought.

soundcloud is under estimated (can you actually say that ?). I think it's a great tool and the sound quality is very good (you can upload other formats than just mp3). that makes all the difference with reverbnation or mycrap, sorry myspace.
