Warren whats on the single, and how is it?

Intruder, Typhoon Swell and a really, really crappy vocal. (Think Surface Impressions bad.)

-Warren

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

Satan's Pilgrims - Plymouth Rock
Astronauts - Surfin' With../Competition Coupe
The Fireballs - The Fireballs
Man or Astro Man - Destroy All Astromen!!
The Halibuts - Chumming
The Space Cossacks - Never Mind the Bolsheviks: The Best of...

Happy birthday to me! Guitar Rock Very Happy

Nice Buys JetBlue,

I love the Beatlesesque vocal on Surface Impressions. Surf Coasters... I love them. Each of their CDs is the favorite in my collection.

I think it's a great album, but none of the three vocals on it do nothing for me.

I just like that one because it is happy. The other ones are some of the most godawful songs they ever did.

It's a bit odd how these (although out of print) CDs actually now cost more than the original vinyl albums. I've bought nice condition 60s Ventures LPs for under $10 but had to pay $25 for the above CD used.

I just ordered the new Los Twang Marvels, and the new Diamondheads
CD's from CD Baby. Has anybody heard anything from either of these CD's yet?

I just got El Ray's "Holiday On Ice" - after one spin, I'm diggin' it big time!!

I checked out the new Los Twang! Marvels CD, which I didn't know about - apparently it's mostly a compilation of their first two releases (which BTW are AWESOME), but it does have several new tracks. Hmmmm, I think I'll have to pick this up.... Thanks for the heads up!

I finally got around to ordering the 2 Sundazed Richie Allen reissues (today). Listening to the Cowabunga box set again (after a long time) has me inspired to add to my surf originals (1960's) collection.

Last weekend I bought the Aquasonics cd from Chris.
and this weekend after jamming a bit with Warren,
we went over to the last of the 3 Bionic records store( the one that was on the t-shirt of the guy in the Offspring) in that video that was a rip off of Agent Oranges Bloodstains).

anyways I was very suprised ot hear that the the other 2 stores had closed, but happy to see that the surf section was back( kinda) lots of Golly Gee, and Double Crown stuff there. and a few hard to find Imports. He said they get some surf cds from Norton reocrds.

I got
the Anacondas "Shakin all over'
Da Surfones "the girl who couldn't hula"
kinda surfy----
Los Straitjackets "Twist party"
and Fifty foot combo "GhentBXL"

Im prepared for the 50ft combo to not be surf,
so if Im not into it, I might make myself a copy, and sell the original.

oh and I got some stoner rock stuff, but Im sure you dont wanna know about it, so I wont post it. and no I dont smoke weed Rolling Eyes go figure.

I picked up Fifty Foot Combo's live album, and whichever Anacondas CD has absinthe on the cover.

Yep that's me. I never heard of the shadows until coming here. They have so much good stuff. I followed a link to this site->
http://www.freddie.spb.ru/rock/shadows/ and did some checking out of their sounds, and shazamm. A new fan was born.
I got the CD. I didn't even look for a DVD, but now that you mention it I think I will. Thanks.
Joel

Warren,
What'd you think of the live CD from Fifty Foot Combo?

Tiki,
If you're selling GhentBXL, I'll pick it up from ya.

It's pretty good--high energy, great production, solid tracklist.
