Yes, a rather unfortunate moniker! You don't meet many guys named Dick anymore, why is that?
Dick Burns was the lead guitar player in The Dartells and is credited on guitar as well in The Superstocks along with the aces we know. He's also credited on bass for Dick Dale's Capitol stuff. For those of you who are interested in navigating through the labyrinth full of musicians that played on some of these hot-rod tracks (a daunting task), I just came across this great website that's chock full of info...
