A gift from a friend, and quite the coincidence considering the discussion on the Texotica Reverb Unit. Not surf at all, but REALLY fantastic! http://www.myspace.com/billerandhorton —

Mikelangelo and The Tin Star - The Surf N Western Sounds of. Featuring Martin Cilia. And some low down in your socks vocals. I like it! EDIT: Not totally sure about Martin Cilia playing this band now. Bought from cdbay, falls on surf ears very well. Last edited: Sep 26, 2011 04:06:27 |

I got The Wipeouters full length and Is It Man or Astro-Man on vinyl this week. Awesome so far! I wish that I didn't have to order surf records from the internet, but so far, no luck anywhere else. —This is an adventure. |

I wonder why? There are advantages to ordering on the internet. For one thing you can usually sample the music before you purchase. And you have a far wider choice of music to choose from than at your local record store. —Danny Snyder Playing keys and guitar with Combo Tezeta Formerly a guitarist in The TomorrowMen and Meshugga Beach Party Latest surf project - Now That's What I Call SURF |

There is something to be said about the esthetic of standing in a mom n pop record store, listening to Non crappy mainstream music, and finding surf. I haven't found anything in stores in awhile. Jeff(bigtikidude) |

Just got the new Threesome album yesterday. Gave it a couple spins. I definitely dig it. Good sound, nice vibe, great energy. Another excellent album from a European surf band |

Latest surf or instro related album you got? Fresh back from being off the grid for 8 days of vay-cay and Thanks to Tikyaki, gradually getting acclimated back in the real world at a beautiful pace. —Fady El Mirage @ ReverbNation |

Martin filled in for a month or so while their regular guitarist was overseas. I saw a show they did here in Canberra with Martin on guitar, it sounded really good. — |

Got an album (CD) from "Threesome".....it is called "Adriatica". It is a 3 peice instro band from Serbia. The songs on it are GREAT !! I would not call it traditional surf by any means....but it is SURF...just "modern"....but w/"1st wave" instruments....GREAT playing....and just the right REVERB......the drummer ROCKS ! This is a fine piece of work from Threesome !! (Get This One). |

Haven't been buying much lately; I'm saving hard for a reverb tank. But, I found out I actually did win the silent auction for The Ventures in Space LP. Got it yesterday. What I didn't know is that this album was never played; it's still in the original plastic. As much as I like playing vinyl, I may just have to frame this one. —This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got. |
