George Tomsco is the reason I got into instrumental music in the first place. Here he is playing my Jazzmaster back in January. Sorry Rik-A-Tik got cut off...my battery died. That'd be GREAT. The Shadows are another favorite band of mine. We're now doing "Back Home" among others. Along with the Fireballs, they got me hooked on instrumentals more so than the Ventures did. I always loved the Shadows' use of minor chord progressions. I always feel sorry for the rhythm players on Shadows' covers. That's some REALLY tough strumming! —Matt "tha Kat" Lentz |
