It's been 2 months now since I started looking for any of these guitars in Europe (ebay/shops/yellow pages/forums/... )
I contacted guts from Hallmark Guitars and they told me that they do not have dealers in Europe at this time.
Any help?
I'm currently playing Jazzmater CIJ with American Vintage Series pickups, '66 blackface Fender Deluxe Reverb and '80 Twin Reverb + Custom-made replica of '63 Fender® Tube Reverb.

Even here in the Us you have to order Hallmark guitars direct for them. They do not have dealers.

Yes, I have got two Hallmarks these days. A Swept Wing and a Custom60.
I have also ordered both directly from Bob Shade.
Sometimes they are at ebay.
A friend of mine bought a Swept Wing from ebay UK for 600 Euros. That`s a GOOD price for Europe! So the best would be to wait a bit and get one at ebay.
I will defintely keep my Swept Wing!
I customized my white Custom60 with old original Mosrite pickups which I found on ebay. So nobody will give me the money for such a Custom guitar for sure... I paid all in all about 1300 Euros for it... Too much for sure... Good guitar though. I think I keep it also.
I played it here in this video. But I wasn`t loud enough...

Ah! Forgot say: You asked for Univox guitars?
Dont buy one!!! I had three Univoxes. Nice sound for at home playing but they sound baaaaad in a band!!!
Those Univox or Aria (exactly the same!) guitars are toys!!!
Don t waste your money!
Mosrite or Hallmark?
I have got also two Mosrites. One of them a 50th Ann. model in sparkle red. Greaaaat tone! But this is no recommendation because you cant buy this guitar anymore (Except you have got nearly 5000 dollars, then you will get one at Ed Roman s...)
But I like my Hallmark Sweptwing a bit more!
My recommendation: Get a Swept Wing!

Strange...for years the rhythm player in Man or Astro-man? used a Univox highflier and it sounded great...
Eastwood has a really good recreation of the Univox Highfilier if you are interested...

Yes, the Univox was used by MOAM. But I guess it was used as rhythm guitar!? I remember a video where the Univox sounded okay. Not to forget that MOAM got a different sound to most other surf bands. And they sound better with Hallmarks meanwhile!
I had just bad experiences with those Univox / Aria guitars. Always very individual such comments like mine I know.
Eastwood guitars?
Ah, no! Forget it!
I owned a Wandre Doris copy and a Guyatone copy once. I sold both!
They looked fantastic but I always hated to play them!! Bad necks, bad poor pickups... Nice to hang them to the wall in your flat.
I know some people like them...

My understanding of the Univox Highfliers is that it was all in which year you got...they had good years and very bad years...
On the Eastwood subject, I have an Eastwood Sidejack and would stake my life on the quality of the instruments coming out of that company. Their customer service is top notch as well...

You might have found a shop that had purchased some to resell. However, when I purchased my 59 Custom back in May, Bob Shade specifically told me that they did not have an authorized dealer program.

Hey guys. Thank you for your advices.
I bought Univox Hi-Flyer ('74) + hard case for 300$ on Ebay.
My friend is in USA so I needed to react quick so he could bring it to me.
I couldn't afford Mosrite and they didn't have any Hallmark under 900$.
I will probably change it with M-3 CALIFORNIA P-90 pair.
Any other pickup advise?
Thanks
Uros
p.s. I just saw this. Very interesting for the price ...

I own a Mosrite Mark V. But forget about buying one in Europe! Sometimes and only if you're lucky you can find one on Ebay - at a ridiculous price. I went to the states to buy one...

A guitar sounding bad in a band is reletive to the person posting. I have heard many Hi Fliers that sounded great live...I also had an Aria Mosrite copy that actually sounded fantastic. I just could not get past some of the tremolo problems it came with.

There is nothing wrong with buying for a guitar that fits your budget as long as it makes you happy. However, once you start changing pickups, and doing other mods, you may end up spending close to as much as you would have on a higher end guitar. You just end up spending the money in increments rather than all in one lump sum. Again, nothing wrong with that if you end up with a guitar that you are happy with.
I sold off a lot of unused gear in order to buy a Hallmark Custom 60. The price of a vintage Mosrite was out of the question and my Custom 60 is so close that I no longer feel the need for a "real" Mosrite. This is the nicest guitar that I have owned.
As for Hallmarks on eBay, you may save a small amount of money if you are lucky enough to run across one, but they don't come up all that often and even when they do they are usually not much of a bargain price wise. Save a little longer and buy a new one. There was one on eBay recently that was listed at $400 more than you'd pay for a new one. The seller either got it or pulled the sale because I don't see it there now.

@Rob_J:
You are right!
My problem was that I had about 400$ on my Paypal account, there was only one Hallmark for 850$ + friend of mine was coming back to Europe 2 weeks after purchase so she saved me from shipping costs.
There are no Hallmark dealers in Europe
I'll be going to Florida next year. I must bring back one of these beauties with me!
Thanks man!
