i have been writing these songs for about a year now, just finally playing them out. here is a link to a few of them being performed at our second gig a few weeks ago.

our sound is...surf-inspired but is filled with other influences. i'd like to get feedback from some real surf fans!

ps, i never thought to practice these songs in the dark so my vision in the club didn't allow me to play these as well as i usually can >_< i'm the younger guitar player, i play about 3/4 the leads.

the surfy songs are "escape velocity" "space cowboy" and "partition point". the other ones? not so much...

I checked out some songs and I think your band is on the way to being an interesting and talented instro band. I always appreciate a band trying to bring new angles to surf - I think ultimately it's better for the genre as a whole. Keep up the good work, and be sure to explore the archives here at SG101, there's tons of info here you can't find anywhere else on the web.

If you are interested in some more constructive criticism drop me an email.

Cheers
