My very first attempt at making a video using iMovie. Just a bunch of static images of the moon animated by the ubiquitous Ken Burns Effect. Despite the visuals, I hope you enjoy the song Cheers

BTW: If anyone out there knows how to edit in iMovie to actual musical cues please let me know.

Nice, Danny! I have tried synching stills to the music in Microsoft Windows Movie Maker once or twice, and even posted the results (not surf), but it is too hard for me. I have never managed to get even close to what I wanted. You need some way to display a graphical trace in one track (to be removed later) and you need very precise positioning and duration control, both of which are essentially impossible in MS WMM. Maybe in iMovie.

Great song - real nice images to go along with it!

To my knowledge, Tuck is right - you will want to mess with the stills timing. This tutorial covers video clips, but I think the means to adjust timing for stills duration is more or less the same approach in the app.

Very nice Danny. I've always loved your rendition of that piece!

Thanks everyone. Excuse my lack of humility, but I think this song would appeal to a lot of people who know the original melody. The question is how to get it out in the world for people to find? I've tried responding to other videos of Claire de Lune but it just gets buried. Any ideas?

I thought both the arrangement and the video were great. As for how to get it into the world at large, I think you need to make it more Jerry Springer friendly. That seems to be the stuff that breaks out more than anything else.
