Performing "The Wedge" and most likely shot in 1965. I had never seen this clip until recently.

thanks for posting that Klas

I would assume that the Sax player is Armon Frank,
but not sure,

Thanks for posting. This video is pretty sick! Note the guy dancing at, 00:10-00:17 Secs. LMAO

The Deadbeats

BTW they need to released a lot of this Hollywood au Go-Go footage, even if they where pick syncing. They had some great acts.

The Deadbeats

Nice find!

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

Armon Frank!!! Now there is a name out of the past I hadn't thought about in years. He was one of my sax idols. Always dreamed that some day I may be able to play as well as Armon Frank. Saw him at a show in Long Beach way back when. I forget exactly what show, or when, probably mid 60's (damn Alzheimers!). I think Van Morrison was the headliner and Frank was one of two saxes in the warm-up group. Anyway, he was fantastic.
I didn't know he played with Dick Dale. Barry Rilero was Dale's sax player on Tripin' and other early Dale stuff. (also one of my idols)
Tell me more about what you know about Armon Frank.

Old Surf Fart Fred

Wow, fantastic! I love seeing footage from that time, even it if is just lip synching (or hand synching in this case).

Armon Frank was at the 2010 SG101 convention playing sax!
