Not surf but instro related, here's some 1964 live footage of Sounds Incorporated doing their great "The Spartans":

And here's what the record sounds like:

BTW, wasn't there a thread (started by Ivan I think) dedicated to videos of early 60's European instro bands? I recall searching for it in the past but couldn't find it.

Yeah, their take on the "William Tell Overture" is great (and great fun!). Kinda reminds me of the Flee-Rekkers doing their sped-up version of "Greensleeves":

I just about remember them for a great single but i'm unable to remember the title and can't find it on youtube. Maybe i'm thinking of another band.. They changed their name to Sounds Inc. and collaborated with another artist or something.
I found this instead - Sounds Incorporated - Taboo.

Maybe you would recognize the title from their 45 discography?
Feb '63 "Go"/"Stop"
Aug '63 "Keep Movin'"/"Order Of The Keys"
Mar '64 "The Spartans"/"Detroit"
Jul '64 "Spanish Harlem"/"Rinky Dink"
Nov '64 "William Tell"/"Bullets"
Apr '65 "Time For You"/"Hall Of The Mountain King"
Aug '65 "My Little Red Book"/"Justice Neddi"
Oct '65 "I'm Comin' Through"/"On The Brink"
And that's a great version of "Taboo". Another great one with echo-guitar arrangement is of course The Jokers':

Hi Klas, Taboo by the Jokers is very cool. It's strange that Wikipedia mentions Sounds Inc. but doesn't list any work under that name. I'm probably thinking of another band from after 1966. Thanks anyway.

Ron, William Tell is awesome: two baritone saxes!!!
Two more for the line of development of that:
Piltdown Men: Piltdown Rides Again
Crossfires: Silver Bullet (Just an Amazon sample and purchase of download.)
The Piltdown Men were a studio operation, but my understanding is that the early (Al Garcia & the) Rhythm Kings were hired to tour as them on the West Coast. This is in the CD notes history of the Rhythm Kings, but not in the online history of the Piltdown Men. I suspect the Piltdown Men recordings were influential with Sounds Incorporated, because the Piltdown Men recordings were at least as popular in Britain and Australia as they were in the US. I'm also pretty sure that the Crossfires Silver Bullet traces to this same source.
