The server is operating in a degraded mode and my host is being fairly useless. Of course this has to happen right before my trip to California. I know you'd toyed with the idea of moving to a new provider. No small task, to be sure. I realize in the end, this more or less boils down to your time, but is there anything we can do to help? Would a surge of site donations help migration costs or something? Tech support confirms the disk is bad. I have to do some backups and then it will be replaced. In theory this is something that we can do with only a brief outage. I expect it to happen sometime in the next 2 days.
