The Raybeats were "featured" in an issue of "Guitar Player" mag in the mid-80's...(The Ventures are on the cover....1984 maybe ?) & there is a whole article on "Surf Music" (in addition to the Ventures interview, Danny Amis & Jody Harris are interviewed as well) in the mag with a lot of cool "first wave" info & pics of Chantays, Astronauts, Sentinels etc. (LP covers were pics also.) Also; the Raybeats had 33 1/3 size "e.p." out called "Roping Wild Bears" as well...Hope this helps any Raybeats fans...We still love em' & play the vinyl regularly !! |
