So can we get a roll call of who is planning on

I'll be there! I just booked my flight. REALLY
looking forward to it - and seeing so many old friends
again!

Excellent!
I am honored that you are coming to the event.
Please think about doing a song in the Jam.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Thanks, Jeff and Whore-hay! Looking forward to seeing both of you again!

Haven't signed up for the jam. I figure I should free up the space for those that don't get to play surf music with a band very often...

I'll be there, and I'm working on bringing a newbie too.

Ok, so I'm really trying to manage a trip out this year. Jeff, if the offer of the couch or assorted other carpet space is still there I may want to take you up on it. Carol, if shotgun is still open then ditto! Wouldn't mind playing bass on a song in the jam session. Not sure if I'll haul mine out or not. Anyone helping me out gets beers at multiple points in the weekend! (and gas/food money to boot)

Will,
actually my Parents, and Brother are going to Hawaii that week,
so better than a couch or a floor space.
I got a bedroom for ya, for the whole weekend.

and you can use my bass for the Jam if you want/need.

get yer plane tix now!!

Jeff(bigtikidude)

will, i don't mind having you as a passenger again..... we can randomly drive around lost again at 1 AM like last time. Big Grin

I think its kinda funny that some of you get lost while out here.

When I travel somewhere I always have a map with me,
if I get off the main path, its always very east to tell which way I am going, and get back to the main route(if) I want.

and now with smart phones, and GPS systems, its even easier.

I was driving home from a show last night, and the Freeway in that goes right thru the "hood" was all backed up.
So I got off and drove thru part of LA city, that I have never been thru,
and went for about 25 miles before I got back on the freeway.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

And you lived to tell about it!

there wasn't anybody out on the streets at 2 am
Yes

Jeff(bigtikidude)

I'll be there representin' the Tiki community. At last year's SG101 convention I asked the wait staff if the bar was making good money off the Surf Music crowd. Their response was "These people don't drink... but they sure do eat a lot. We're making great money off the kitchen".

Tiki people on the other hand, DRINK. I'll try to coax more of the tribe into attending this year to balance things out. Smile

maps are over rated

at least if you don't mind exploring foreign Territories at 2 am.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

I won't get lost, I'll be on an Island that goes in a circle. Ocean on one side and Mts. on the other side. Yummy food, white sandy beaches, crystal clear blue water, snorkeling with the fish, Mai Tai's at sunset, ahhhhhh. Just sayin'

Craig the Keg

Hodad makin' the scene with a six pack.

Hope you have a great time! You will be missed...

I tried to tell them that Hawaii is there every day of the year.
and the convention is only once a year.
but that didn't help.
they only had this opening for their time share.
