The John Blair Band - awesome!! That's some great stuff! Thanks for posting!
Anybody know the titles of the two mystery songs below?
- ? - I think this is a Jon & the Nightriders song
- Suicide Bay - Jon & the Nightriders
- Force of Gravity - The Genteels
- Moving Target - Jon & the Nightriders
- Banzai Washout - Dick Dale
- Safari Stomp - Los Twang! Marvels
- ? - again, I think this is a Jon & the Nightriders song (what a great song!)
I recognize both songs, but can't place them....

Oh, shoot, of course!! That's actually very funny. Since the first time I heard that track I thought it sounded through and through like a Jon & the Nightriders track (and nothing like the Atlantics of old). Hearing John play it in this video, I would have sworn it was one of his song, which is why I couldn't place it. But it all makes perfect sense now. They really do play it incredibly well!
Thanks, Carol!

Hi friends,
here is my first video from the Surfer Joe 2011.
The fantastaic Phantom Four are playing their old Treblespankers classic "Dilmohammed" from the "Araban" album.
Enjoy:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ydy1EVL6-Y&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL
It´s impossible to catch the catchy hot live atmosphere created by The Phantom Four in such an amateur video! Especially the personality of Phantom Frank on stage is so nice!!!!!!! What a Karma!
Thanks to the Phantom Four for this experience in an own surf music style!
— Twang cheers!

Just watched that - ROCKIN'!!! Indeed, as Lorenzo put it when the band started, a 'true metal experience'! Can't wait to see them live in SoCal in August!
Songs:
1. Surf Beat - DD
2. Stampede - The Scarlets
3. Mozipel Twist - The Wadadli Riders
4. ? - sounds familiar but can't place it - Los Straitjackets?
5. Killer Wave - The Wadadli Riders
6. Fathom This! - The Fathoms
7. Dwell at 10 - The Wadadli Riders
I'm so thankful for YouTube and the people who post videos.
Thank you, all! It's so great to see all the videos and photos of SJ as they're trickling in. Definitely takes away some of the pain of not being there...

Lorenzo, my friend, you truly deserve some rest! Hope you get it soon. Thank you for everything you do for our little scene. We're all indebted to you! And great, GREAT job with both your Boss Combo and the John Blair Band!

Ivan,
Number 4 is Hornet's Nest, and it is indeed by Los Stratejackets. Watching these videos makes me wanna go back in 2012!

You're welcome but all credit goes to youtube user omidasss, a very generous Italian person i think! The John Blair Band looked totally dangerous, Lorenzo's band i liked, Phantom Four seemed to charm the audience very well. I'm enjoying!

Wow, the Phantom Four!! They were amazing!!! Loved that. So much charisma in addition to the great songs and musicianship. Thanks so much for posting this crumble!
The songs:
1. a new one? sounds really nice!
2. another new one, though I think they had this one on their site for a while - I forget the name though
3. Malaguena - the Trashmen
4. another new one? very riffy, especially for Frank
5. Johnny Guitar - the Spotnicks
