Greetings, I've decided to sell my Gretsch 5129 and I'm offering it up for $550 shipped and insured to SG101ers in the 48 cont'l US states. I have no case or bag for it, but it will be double boxed and well-packed for shipping. It has a "used" stamp on the back of the headstock, apparently for some cosmetic flaw I've yet to find. It's a very nice, high-quality Korean made guitar that can do blues, surf or classic rock with just a flick of the 3-way switch. Pics are available at my PhotoBucket site: http://s1011.photobucket.com/albums/af237/urbananick/
PM me if interested, I can send more pics and answer questions.

I'm going to concur with Kenpo on this one - These are great guitars with phenomenal tone. It was a red 5129 just like this one that first opened my ears to That Great Gretsch Sound, and the twang from these things is undeniable.
This is also what I would consider the better variant, as it has a non-tension bar Bigsby.
I'll also add that Midwest is a great guy to deal with, and the Hallmark I bought from him was even more pristine than he'd let on.
Best of luck on the sale!

Thanks for the kind words, Ty! And, yes, this is the model without the tension bar. I feel like this Bigsby configuration provides a more authentic Gretsch tone.

I've lowered my asking price by $50 if that interests anyone here.
