Hello SG101 members
Submitted for your consideration, my band (Los Pipelines) first video. We live in the north of Spain and we have been playing together for 4 months (since the former drummer and the rhythm guitarist left because they decided that they did not enjoy surf music). Thank God we could recruit later another drummer and a keyboard player. In one month time we will start playing some gigs around.
I know that we have not discovered the gunpowder with this cover, and some people in this forum have already performed 'Banzai' with brilliant playing, but this is the last song we have added to our repertory, we really enjoy it and I would like to share it.
We could only record two takes of the song and then a friend of us made the rest with the computer. This is the result.
The sound is not good because our rehearsal room has the worst acoustic ever heard ('sonido bodeguero' or cellar sound in English), but it is cheap and there we do not annoy anybody with the noise. (The bad acoustic issue could be solved easily moving to another rehearsal room). And I know that sometimes the guitarist (me) plays the wrong note. (This issue could be solved easily changing the guitarist).
Anyway, here we go...
