Since this is SurfGUITAR101... I thought this pic would be appropriate. (I was fumbling my way through "Pipeline" ...I think.)
NOTE: If Kyle lets me play his guitar on stage, you know it's an extreeeemly casual gig... or everyone's really drunk... or both. This is NOT typical of a Verbtones show!!!

Damnit!! I was gonna make the same stupid joke! Bill, you looked a lot like I did then. Maybe we're, like, related or something.

Must be.
Problem is, I couldn't figure out how to get "my first guitar" alongside me in that picture.

The Make Out Room in S.F. taken last year when we did the Link Wray tribute. When the woman who took the shot sent it to me, with the sepiatone, I thought it looked so period correct for the early 60s.

Bill, you were born in what, '82? I don't think your pappy even had the notion of you in '64.

Hey Ferenc,
Give me a little credit -- I was born in '81!!! Not '82.
Yeah, somehow I doubt I was swimmin back in '64 -- pops was a whopping 16 at the time...

Yeah, that would've made you just a stain on a bedsheet.

Hey NoisyDad welcome to SG101. I checked out some of your samples on your website, I liked them, I think others on here would too. Why not post one on our downloads page?
Good to have you.

I'll take you up on that.
I've posted one of my tunes, "Take the Pipe," in the "Demos" area. It's a 2004 recording by my regular band, See Jane Run (which is not a surf band). I think we pulled it off, though. See what you think.
