Just in at Buffalo Brothers:

Paul

Even before I got into surf, that was my dream guitar. I've wanted one since I first learned how to play guitar.

Looks great, Buffalo Bros websit is always worth watching for great guitars. For those in SoCal its worth a drive to Carlsbad on a Satuday morning to check out the place, and don't miss the acoustic section. If you don't have GAS when you get there you will when you leave..

Happy Sunsets!

Looks like my main axe '87 [used to look!]

Why wait until Saturday? I work in Carlsbad and drive by on my way home every day!
That's a sweet guitar. Almost traded my Esquire for one, but took cash instead and bought a Sonic Blue.

Has anyone had success (or a horrible failure) waxing the bodies with a wax that contains a UV shield? The darker color green paint looks oxidized (the bright tones faded by the UV in sunlight or florescent lights). I never thought of that before until just now.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Nice! I did the same thing a while back. I swapped out the maple neck and pups from my old Strat and bought a used Fender 50s surf green body. Mine doesn't have the bathtub route but looks identical otherwise
