Brian,
On the old version of site,
when I clicked on a link,
a new browser window would open of the page I clicked on.
Now when I click on a link,
the SG101 page changes to the page for the link like the Yahoo groups do.
Is there a way to put it back like it was before?
sometimes I like to click on a link to a band myspace, or youtube video, then while the music is playing, I go back to SG101 and keep reading. The way it is now, if I go back, the band page music stops,
and it goes back to SG101.
very frustrating.

Jeff, let your browser do that for you. On Windows, you can click a link with your middle mouse button and most browsers will open it in a new tab. You can also right click on a link and usually a menu will appear where you can open in a new tab or window.
Mac browsers probably have something similar. Does anyone know?

Jeff, what browser are you using? Also, if you middle click the mouse wheel it normally opens a link in a new tab.

well I figured out how to do it by right clicking,
can either open in a new window, or a new tab,
but then I have to click on that tab to go to it.
yeesh.
why did this change?
I loved clicking on a link and it opening in a new tab automatically before.

That is weird... I never had a link open in a new tab previous, from just a standard left-click. Granted 90% of the time I was opening multiple links with "middle-click" or whatever that is on my laptops.

The new software doesn't automagically link-ify plain links either. E.g.:
http://surfguitar101.com
That might be slightly more important. I can look into both issues.

wow that link-ify is a biggie,
that would be even more frustrating.

I really like that! People shouldn't be allowed to just drop links, they are too unsightly. It looks nice to create a link that looks like this.
Although we are going to see a lot of this. Your text to link here...

It is just what any actual website uses. green link = blue link. You can see the entire link when you hover your mouse if one is worries about following blind links.
