I watched this countless times... I think I even watched it back to back a couple times. |

Around 2003. I think subtitles come in the form of a small file which can be imported into VLC player.... |

Starting around 28:45 the person mentions the Space Cossacks in conversation a few times. I wonder in what context . . . I just watched this. It's so great. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the unlikely intersection of two of my favorite bands in the world meeting up. (Hey, Mike, Michael . . . you gotta hear this!) I think the live sound mix (at least in the recording) of the Germany(?) show is surprisingly good! 54:40 I like the juxtaposition of them practicing in a small upstairs spare bedroom, with the huge stage and thousands in concert later. That's probably the surreal part of being in a band sometimes. |

I bought this DVD when it came out. While it is great and a must for fans, we still need a "real" live concert DVD! —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

It's been a couple of years since I watched this, but if my memory is correct the context was the following: the Bambis and/or their management heard that we (the Space Cossacks) were going to be opening for REM in the States - something which was never even a possibility. Based on this rumour, they decided to contact REM and see if they could open some shows for them in Europe - and the rest is history. When I found out about this, I sent some Cossacks CDs to Dalibor to give to Buck and Stipe, which he did - given that we were never contacted, I guess they weren't nearly as impressed by us! But I suspect what attracted REM to the Bambis was exactly that they weren't so trad, they had these other weird things going on. Still, it's nice to have been a part of the whole process, if only accidentally!
Umm, I think that's Lada's and Hrvoje's living room! I think it's an apartment, and apartments in Croatia are pretty small. —Ivan |

It looks like subtitle files can be uploaded to youtube. I guess the uploader would need to extract the .sub or .srt file from the DVD. |

It is still really weird for me to type the words "I", "love", and "molesters" in the same sentence. But damn. I sure do love the Bambi Molesters! Thanks for posting! An interesting watch! |
