Unfortunately, I only have 1 Men of Mystery tune. Wish I had more.
Used my Canon SX130IS still camera that takes 720p video. The sound is pretty good for this little cam.

All I have to say is Eddie knows how to party!
Jeff, Tim, Craig and Marty (guarding the back door)! You guys are the bomb. Thats how ya throw it down. What a great crowd. My hat is off to Don's for providing such a great venue. I feel honored to have been a part of it. We raised a few bucks for Eddie and had a blast doing it. If I ever get sick I know who I want in my corner. And more importantly.... EDDIE GET WELL SOON !

Thanks Jeff. It was a great show.
I got to sit next to Eddie from the Surge. He came all the way from Georgia to see the show.
Just added the Riptides "Penetration". Never seem them before, they are a very good traditional surf band. Would like to see more of them.
Slacktone & Secret Samurai cranked it up & my poor little camera mics couldn't take it.
There were other people recording. So to them I say post what you got.
We wanna see.

The tone on volcanic action by the belairs is just awesome.. that strat sounds great...
P.S. what guitar is the second guitarist using in the riptides? Headstock looks long for a gibson?

I think we need more threads about the Eddie event.
Secret Samurai were REALLY impressive. Hopefully they'll get that CD out for sale soon!
BTW, kudos to BTD for putting it together! If I ever get hit by a bus or choke on a chicken sandwich, I hope BTD is still talking to me!

Mr. Hay.
you have to eat the chicken sandwich to be able to choke on it.
Chris,
thanks for the Lost in Paradise,

well said WhorehayRFB!
actually is there a way to condense the multiple threads into one thread? I ask this b/c I have a lot videos coming (and then some pix, too), and I am not sure where to post my stuff
as suggested earlier in time, I now create a SURF VIDEO thread when I post a grouping of videos (and pix); and then I drop the link to that thread in the 'Event' thread; problem here is that there are many 'Event Thread(s)'
just my 2.6748 cents

Maybe something by the Sandals? Lonely Road? I don't think that's right, but something along those lines.

Nope! See below for BTD's answer.

Thanks! We're getting closer...
We had a blast at the event. It was great to see everybody again and to meet some people I had not met. Great work from Jeff, Tim and everybody else that helped organize the event. It went off without a hitch. We were really honored to be able to take part in the event. It was great that Eddie was able to make it!
We were at risk of not making the event, but Steve, our bass player, pulled though a stomach flu attack and made the show like a trooper. Here's to you Steve!

That's Matt Quilter channelling Eddie. He ALWAYS sounds great! I think it has something top do with talent!
It's an Epiphone (by Gibson) Sheraton II. It's kind of a cross between an ES335 and an Epi Sheraton-which had mini humbuckers. They were originally made in Japan-later Korea and are pretty good quality. Unusual choice for Surf to be sure, but he was getting the sound. I'll bet he uses flatwounds.
