we have done surf versions of just like heaven and what so funny about truth love and understanding both sound great as instrumentals and are a real kick in the pants to play + people love it...........new wave sound great when played as surf songs.....

I said (back when all the tribute cds were coming out around 2000.
that I would love to see a cd of all 80's new wave songs done by surf bands.

Bitch Boys cover of Take On Me (A-ha) made me a believer of the potential - and that's even more just 80's than new wave, but close enough to count.
