I have a flyer that Kristena helped me make for this party. I can send to anybody as an attachement if they want to see it, or want to have
as a reminder of the event.
e-mail me at Bigtikidude@yahoo.com
for the flyer or any other questions

Man I wish I could make it, sounds like a great party. Marty's lucky to have a friend like you, Jeff.

I'm really looking forward to this party.
I now have to figure out how to make a birthday cake that looks like a reverb tank. I have many ideas, but welcome any other suggestions.
I'm also looking forward to seeing all of you that I don't see as often in the winter.

use (white) chocolate with butter to make a topping paste, keep adding bits of dark chocolate while melting (au bain Marie!) to get the right shade of "blonde" ... it gets a nice paiste like structure during coolng down which allows you to apply it smoothly. before it gets hard again. PM me of you need the exact recipe, but any decent chocolate coooking book (Ill admit, I own about four of those ) should have 'em.
you could expiriment with eadible (sp?) paper ("auwel" in dutch) for grill-cloth, it has a basketweaves ructure allready. perhaps it's available in white and you can collor it with dark cranberry juice or something. or use real oxblood .
marzipan should be available in any color imaginable, and with a sharp kitchen knive and some patience will make barrel knobs. get a plate of the darkest of the darkest chocolate for the faeplate, and use powder-sugar with a bit of water to manually paint the faceplate.
if you can find a good chocolate-makers store, or bakery specialzing in cakes in your area go over there, spend a few bucks and chat 'em up and ask for idea's and they might even help you out with supplies.
Are you gonna do the cheesecake-mod, or will you keep the stock cake?

Ah, just bake it in the shape of a reverb pedal. Jeff and Marty won't be able to hear the difference.

Tim,
I hope this doesn't mean that your not going to make it.
I'm sure that someone will record it, and video it. (San???)
But if you don't go, I'll make sure they don't upload it for anyone to view. Just kidding just kidding.

I know. I can only handle so much exicetment in one day..
My wife is dragging me to see "Cavalia" at 3 PM so I'll be fortunate if I get there in time to see The Detonators play "A Few Waves More."
