Permalink *SOLD* 1973 Fender Jazzmaster For Sale *SOLD*

New Topic

My '73 Jazzmaster is up for sale. It is in pretty good condition. The guitar is at my parent's at the moment so I can't take better photos. Small indent on the back of the neck, slight blemish on the front, looks much worse in the photo than it is in person. Other than that normal scratches. Other tuners were installed, but proper tuners are back on it. Comes with the original case.

I used this guitar for many years and it has treated me very well, I actually prefer it to my '66 Jazzmaster, but those aren't getting a good return $$ these days so I am forced to sell this.

I'll get more pictures after Thanksgiving, but I only have one right now since I deleted my flickr account.

I'm looking to get $1800 plus $30 shipping(to the US, international pays actual shipping price) For comparison, there is one of identical vintage on ebay right now for $1800 that is lacking a finish. I can accept Pay Pal.

I'd really love for it to go to a good home here on SG101.

Again, that photo is really terrible and not what the guitar really looks like. You can see more photos of it on http://www.myspace.com/theverb it is in most of the pictures. This is probably the best photo of it in action: http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/52/l_8c4f73a3dc6137fd8d6a21443197a65f.jpg

Somebody with enough posts over on Offset Guitars.com should post a link to this. Blocks and binding... Can someone help Jake out who's a regular over there?

That would be tremendous! Hopefully better pictures tomorrow! We're still a little snowed/iced in here in Seattle.

Helping jake would be stopping him from selling it:) Regret bus.. your house... soon:(

Of course i wish you luck on the sale though:)

I wanna play just like him when i grow up...

It needs a better home, it hasn't been played in too long. It lives at my parents house. My regret is having too many guitars I never play.

ah.. i understand.. i have 5 right now and i play 1 6 amps.. and i use 1.... i still want a damn jm though.. Sad

What about the pink one?

I don't know if I want to sell the Burgundy Mist one. I always thought I'd sell it before the Jazzmaster. It is a refinished AVRI, it's really nice for an AVRI. I'd want $900 for it, which I don't know if it would sell because it is a refin.

Are you nuts? You could get $1100 or $1200 at offset for the jag. make a friend who can post in the for sale section.

Here are the new pictures, it isn't in as good of shape as I remember, although the top, back, and neck are in great condition. Paint chip on the bottom edge and scrapes on the top edge. Pictures illustrate them and make them worse than they seem, I honestly had no idea they were there.
