I think danos are a good choice between quality and prize. You get the quality you pay but clean sounds are quite decent (I love the sound of danos with fender amps), the playability is good and on stage they look so cool... Do not expect a first class instrument. But as a friend of mine used to say ' record with a fender and play live with a dano".

I love the looks of them and would like to own one.
I also really had a jones for the Pro 1 reissue from a couple of years back, even though it had no trem.
I think these are really fun to play (and I've played both) but most Danelectros (including these) are just too small for me.
I'm a big guy...even Fender solidbodies look like toys on me. Truth be told, I'd be best off with a big honkin' semi-hollow or hollowbody.
But I just dig Fenders.

Hi All,
I've got a dead on in limey green color,
nicely made and sounds excellent. The only
shortcomming is the tremolo, which is functional
but leaves much to be desired in the line of durability.
Would I buy another if this one were to go missing?
You bet it's a fun axe.
Cheers
