It's one of those red knob models, right?

No, it has black knobs. I would post a photo if I could remember how to do it.

Hmmm, a Showman in a combo? I'll try to find my Fender Amp book.

According to Teagle & Sprung, Fender's 2nd line of solid state amps was produced from 1982 to 1987 and included a 200 Watt Showman combo available in 1x12, 2x12, 2x10, or 1x15.
I've never seen such a Showman. I wouldn't think it would be worth that much, as '83 would still be CBS, but I haven't priced amps in a long time.
I've seen lots of the later "red knob" amps on ebay. They seem to have a respectable following of fans. Note that the red-knobs are tube powered, but I think have various solid state pre-amp sections.

I had a buddy who had the 2x10 version--it wasn't a bad sounding amp. I could have sworn his had tremolo though. Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

I had a Showman 15" throughout the '80's. Although I also used a Twin Reverb, the Showman did a lot of gigs. It had an EV-15L speaker and could play extremely loudly without strain. The Riviera-designed channel switching worked really well, and it was quite versatile for that period in Fender's history.
I replaced it in '91 with a Mesa Boogie Mark IV.

That was a link on how to post photos in the forums. It was for SG101 1.0, so I probably deleted it in February since it was out of date. The new how to post photo thread is here:
