I just bought my friends pearl green SGV800. I absolutely love it! So, since it's a keeper, I'd like to get a case for it. Most guitar cases won't fit it. I'm using a tweed bass case, but it's a lot longer than is needed and also the guitar doesn't fit in it very well. So, if anybody who has found a case can let me know what they got, that would be great. Thanks!

My SGV's fit nicely in the H60/Mosrite case I got from Bob Shade at Hallmark. I'd shoot him an email and see if he has any in stock:

Sorry to necropost but there seem to be a lot of SGV players on this site - has anyone found a nice generic case that'll fit? I see the Hallmark link recommended above but it seems a little expensive, especially if I'm having it delivered to England. Ideally I want something relatively cheap (around £50) and generally available on eBay. I would also like if the case can grant wishes. This pic on the Offset Guitars forum seems to hint it might fit in a Gator case?

I'm pretty sure the pic you linked to was taken by SG101 user tiki101, I remember he put up this beautiful SGV800 for sale on here as well. You may want to PM him directly as he would probably be able to answer your question re the Gator case.
Oh, and welcome to SG101!
EDIT: dug up this post by the same member in which he answers your question.
Also, in this post, he mentions a SGV300 with a Stagg brand case.
Hope this helps!

Ace, thanks very much - I guess I should've searched the forum a bit more diligently before asking ;)
