Hello Ladies and Gents,
Just wanna personally invite everybody on this list to my 50th Birthday Bash on Saturday, September 11, from 3pm to last call, (which is 1:45am), at the Simi Valley Moose Lodge. "The Surf Rockets", and a side kick band of mine "The Drips" play there quite often, and they gave me the place for free. That's good news cause that leaves me with more money to pay the bands, plus the taco catering guy! Woo-Hoo!

The current line-up of bands playing, are: Slacktone, John Blair And The Trespassers, Insect Surfers, Mighty Surf Lords, Point Doom, Surf Rockets, 3 Balls Of Fire, members of The Detonators, The Drips, and then a huge jam at the end. Bring your axe, or if your Marty Tippens, bring your axe, drumset, bass, mics, toe tamborine, and kazoo. ;D

Dusty will be a busy boy that night too! He's playin' drums in Slacktone, (of course), Insect Surfers, and 3 Balls Of Fire. Can you say multi-tasking?
Amazing.

The infamous Unsteady Freddie and Baja Marty, (The One Man Party), will be the Masters Of Ceremony, and I'll be volunteering stand up comedians from the audience in between bands, so, bring a paper bag! ;D

The Mooselodge people told me whoever wants to camp out there can do so for free for the week-end. There's a hotel within stumbling distance, (Extended Stay), on Stearns ave., Huge swimming pool at the Moose too, lots of space, kids welcome till 10pm.
Here's a link to the place:

I'll have more details soon. Tell everybody!
Cheers
Billy

Hi Billy,

Maybe we can get Dave Wronski to play too & play lead and throw in Ace of Spades? Not the Linkster but some Peter Gunn if we have a sax?

That sounds killer Tim! That reminds me. Could you spread the word to Jim Frias? I don't have his contact info.
Thanks!
