These performances by all the groups on video are absolutely fantastic. For us who were not able to make it there, these videos are absolute treasures that capture that magic. Thanks a million to those who videotaped it and sharing them with us.

Too much fun! Thanks all for the videos. We're lucky so many talented people choose to play this music! Ryan, I'm really intrigued by the new tunes and look forward to the album! Dang, your technique is so amazing. Guys like you and Ivan and Danny and Ferenc really raise the bar. |

No guarantees in life, but we stepped it up and did it well - I'm relieved! Would have sucked to have that video out there with us hitting bum notes left and right!!
Likewise, Zanti, great meeting you and your whole crew! I am very happy there are bands out there like yours, injecting new blood into our genre, cause it's the only way it will stay alive. And you guys are REALLy great! you do it right, and you're all loaded with talent! Keep it up! As far as your second point, I'm pretty sure that can be arranged... And the honor will be all ours! —Ivan |

Thanks dp, and lest I forget, the performance was dedicated to Danny "Daddy-O-Grande" Amis, Miles Corbin of "The Aqua Velvets", and "The King", Dick Dale. All three have had a huge influence on me (us) and are currently dealing with serious health issues. |

Great job on Tailspin! Here is a killer performance based on The Nocturnes covers of two surf classics "Baha-Ree-Ba" (Trademarks) and "Journey to the Stars" (Ventures). Thanks Ted...and indeed, I agree about what you said about Danny...that's how I came up with the idea to bow down while he's soloing...lightining fast right hand, and super nimble left hand (plus the mind abilities to make them work properly)! |

Thanks guys, you're too kind. Playing with Ran, JonPaul and Norm is tons of fun and a real honor. Seeing how we've done this 3 times already we should probably come up with a name, how about The Conventioneers? —Danny Snyder Playing keys and guitar with Combo Tezeta Formerly a guitarist in The TomorrowMen and Meshugga Beach Party Latest surf project - Now That's What I Call SURF |
