This is all you will ever need: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItC3M5ezQOE Only $15!!! They sound pretty decent in person. I'm not much of a practice amp person, but it is fun and might actually make a decent amp for some layered guitar. |

Ha!, it's like Link Wray without a punctured speaker. |

Have an iphone and downloaded the software. OK simulations, but not as good as their Amplitube 2 or 3 on Mac. Bought the iRig - $40. Bad design - the cable is so short that if you move your guitar cable plugged into it, it can send the iRig and your iPhone crashing down to the floor - not good. Sound - glitchy, not as good as a Pod. I'm selling the iRig to my other band member who thinks it's fun. Free software - OK, but you have to pay for a Fender emulation. Won't replace anyone on this board's rig, but if you just want something to practice and have an iPhone, perhaps. On the other hand, the Petersen iStrobosoft tuner for the iPhone is a steal at $9.99 and works as good as their $200 stomp box. Great app. —'65 Fender Tremolux, '74 Princeton; 77 Vibrolux Reverb; '81 Princeton Reverb |

Thanks for your review nedorama. I can imagine the cable would be a bit of a pain if the iphone topples over with the slightest movement... annoying, can't blame you for selling it on. |
