Permalink Here's the sound of Rio Grande Stelly in the bridge position

I like to get a bridge pickup tone that is more full and strong, and not so thin and stinging, so I'm a fan of the Rio Grande Stelly for the bridge position.

Over in the Videos section, there's a video of my band, the Royal Aces, doing "Tempest", and any of you who are thinking about changing your bridge pickup can hear a Stelly in action. I'm playing through a '68 Bandmaster Reverb and a Jensen Neo 15" speaker.

I bought my first rio grande bout 17 years ago i think... Rio grande muy grande i believe it was called... still in my SG and one in my strats bridge.. i LOVE rio grande pickups:)

I wanna play just like him when i grow up...
