Finally I received from AJ the e-mail announcing the release of Dr. Frankenstein's new album "Dr. Frankenstein in 4 Dimensions" which will be available from 4th August 2010 - with a renewed line up.
The video for the song "Sneaky Surf", from the new album, is already available on youtube.com and their myspace.
I've heard some unproduced recordings from early rehearses for this album and I'm expecting a fantastic final product. I wish I could still be playing with them...

Thanks for the Heads up Fred.
I can't remember if you told us before, or not.
But why did you leave and move to England?

Always thought their last LP deserved a little more talk than it got. The song in this video sounds great! Excellent production too!

To be honest with you, bigtikidude, I really don't know why did I come to England. Maybe I was just feel too much confortable in Portugal, lol.
I came to try to enhance my career and my English skills, and fell in love with the rockabilly/ rock'n'roll scene in London. Meanwhile also met my girlfriend. The rest is history.
I think AJ is a great musician (in general, first) and a great guitar player (in particular, second). I believe that in the portuguese rock'n'roll scene, altough there are other very good musicians/ guitar players, AJ is probably the best one - the more complete. In many times he was an uncomprehended genius. Now a days he have been working in sound production and he's became very good on it. Really can't wait to listen to the final product of his new Gretsch Silver Jet with Deharmond pus through his black face 65 fender twin reverb with the boss frv-1 pedal he got to record this album.
