Permalink Jazzmaster pickup spacing...

New Topic

Help! I am experimenting again, and this time I want to put a pair of original Dearmond by Rowe gold foil moustach pickups on an old TeleStar guitar that I aquired. I only got the body and neck, which are structurally sound, so I have made a pick guard, and want to put the pickups in the correct position to get something like a Jazzmaster tone when I use them together. I got the pickups years ago before they got desirable, and have been looking for just the right project for them.
What I am looking for is the measurement between the bridge and neck pickups' poles; i.e. the spacing between the pickups, not between the poles of an individual pickup.
Can anyone clue me in?? Question

If Ida knownd I was gonna live this long, Ida took better care of maself.
