Most cool song! I found it randomly searching youtube, just incredible!

I'm not easily impressed and rarely plug other musicians I don't know, with that said check it out.

I may order some Slacktone cds?

welcome to the Slacktone fan club.
I think if you get their cds you won't be disappointed.

Yes, welcome to the fan club. But you say you found them randomly on YouTube? You've been a member for a year and you haven't noticed all the threads about them? And 6 of their videos are on the front page of this site right now. Razz (Just razzin' ya... ;) )

And yes, that's a great video. When Freddie first posted it I watched it about 30 times.

That video was at the Molokai Lounge in the Mai Kai early in the evening. They were playing a bit more laid back to fit the atmosphere, well, until the last few songs of the second set when they cut loose. Even the employees came rushing into the bar to check it out. It was quite a scene.

Maybe they'll swing through the S.E. Coast one day, I'd love to see em live?

You would. But as far as I can tell they really only play California and Europe. I did see them once in Denver, but I think that was more of a one-time bride-stealing expedition than a tour. Your chances of seeing them are better if you tour them ...

Now try Skeleton Key or Daytona Mona. Or pretty much anything else.

Slacktone has played the East Coast before. Check out their extensive list of past shows on their website.

actually for a while Dusty and I were kicking it back and forth about putting together a show for July 4, 2010, but the band's travel plans changed

yeah that was some night in Florida

after the MaiKai in Ft. Lauderdale SLACKTONE headed to Miami, with me in tow. They let it totally go in a place called CHURCHILL'S. They were burnt from all the travel, but their performance was over-the-top. I captured some of that spirit on my YouTube page.

And last weekend in Livorno, Italy, SLACKTONE ruled! Wait'll you see the videos from there!! Soon, I promise
