Permalink CTS aluminum-dome speakers

I mentioned in the Buy-Sell-Trade thread that I recently bought a '67 Bassman cab on eBay to finally get a match for my '62 Bandmaster head. The cab was bashed to bits, which is exactly what I wanted: I was going to recover it anyway, so may as well as get it cheap and something where I wouldn't feel bad about stipping off the original covering. It was advertised as a Bandmaster cab, which was annoying as I had to get the recovering guy to move the thumbscrew holes. But the bonus was that it came with some really good speakers! After doing a bit of research, I believe these are the original CTS alnico speakers with an aluminum dome - I think they were used in Kustom amps and cabs quite a bit in the late '60s. They're EXTREMELY bassy (I have to keep the bass down to to around 3 on my Bandy while playing them), but they sound very nice, especially cranked a bit. Anyone know more about these speakers?

When I bought my Bandmaster cab, it came with two CTS speakers. I absolutely LOVE those speakers!! They sounded just as good, yet very different, as the JBLs I curently have in there. Unfortunately, they were no match for a Showman head. For a Bandmaster, they would have been perfect.
