Permalink Mastering pro's - psych/surf/garage??

New Topic

so, my bands recording our first LP, and we're slowly gettin through it. i'm recording/mixing it myself, but would like to get it professionally mastered (cos i dont have any mastering software/hardware)

should hopefully be done mid to late june.

i was just wondering whether anyone knew of any producers/master'ers, anywhere in the world really, that have worked on some cool stuff?

we play garagy, surfy, bluesy stuff so looking for someone with experience with those kind of genres.

anyways, just throwin it out there to see if you guys had any info.
cheers
Bodie

should note: we are on a bit of a budget - lookin for under a grand for the 10 tracks. (was hopin for around $500-700, but i have no idea what average mastering rates are???)

I would contact Phil Dirt at Reverb Central. He's mastered CD's for a number of surf bands, including the Bambi Molesters.
