Paul Gilbert of Racer X and Mr. Big, one of THEE eighties shredders, used to do this back in the eighties - he had picks attached to a mixer and he'd play with it live - not the whole set, just as a gimmick. Funny stuff...

Actually Ivan,
Paul Gilbert used a Drill I thought with 3 picks attached to it.
This guy with the egg beater cracked me up.

I saw a guy on Leno or Letterman play Malaguena a year or two back with a mixer. It was actually quite skillful. More so than the Misirlou anyways.
