Wow! Very cool...too bad it's a Duo-Sonic. But I'm sure that would go up on the wall or in a trophy case if you bought it. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

I love my '62 Duo-Sonic. I guess you have to be secure in your manhood to play one. It is an awesome rhythm guitar! —Jack Booth The Mariners (1964-68, 1996-2005) |

I'm just razzin' on the Duo-Sonic...anything by Fender from that era is cool with me. (Now what was the Fender with the possibly the worst vibrato ever? Was that the Bronco? I've always found it interesting that Fender was constantly trying new systems out...he just loved to create I think. You got the Strat trem, the Jag/Jazz trem, the Mustang trem, the Duo trem...) Anyway, back to the topic...all those autographs: Eddie Bertrand, Jim Masoner, John Blair, Dick Dale, etc...that's a keeper for sure. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

The autographed Duo-Sonic on ebay was offered a few years ago. I bid on it, and got sniped right at the end over $1.03 I really wanted it, just for wall art, - and at the time it was $200 or something around there. It's cool, but I don't think its worth $500. Not to me, at least. Still, all our guitar heros signatures in one spot - Now I'm thinking about it....... Chris —"You can't tell where you're going if you don't know where you've been" |
