thank you sir...........i actually surfed today............... in the rain

Well, over on mainland NC today, I only shopped in the rain, but I did get some new Clayton guitar picks. Was in Nags Head & Duck Friday...didn't surf but I did eat a snow cone while watching others tryout their boogie boards.

I'm sorta kinda in a band now. Guys that are older than me (hard to believe) get together every Tuesday night in Bath. Oldies & some instro stuff, but they only thought they knew about The Ventures until I showed up. Cool part is the bass player was one of my musical mentors when I was 12. Since 1970, I've owned his '65 Jazz Bass in near-mint condition. He saw it for the first time since 1970 last week...offered to trade me his family to get it back.

Uh, no.

What's the name of the band? Gee, I dunno if it has one yet.

I might be back at The Cave in June for Killer Filler. Gotta be in the Triangle area that day anyway.
