Quentin Tarantino is set to remake Russ Meyer's 1965 classic: Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! Here's hoping the Neptunas can squeeze themselves a soundtrack out of it.

I only really know them by their cds. Anyways i like 'em lots.
They have a track on "Let them Eat Tuna" called "Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!". It's pure Tarantino style and humour.

I ghost drummed on that. There has been talk of a reunion. They played about three years ago in San Francisco with Don Burnet, Leslita's husband (Waco, Nudist Priest) on drums.

I gotta be honest - I can't listen to any of the Neptunas stuff that Jeff didn't drum on. It's the ... shall we say, "fluid" tempos and time signatures?

My very first surf show was the Neptunas at Sacred Grounds in San Pedro. I have to agree about the drumming but I wasn't sure if the roughness was intentional. I never heard Jeffita with them.

I'm not sure I'm on the version on Let them eat Tuna. I did do the one that came out on an all girl comp. It has "How many more times" as the jazz -spoken word part. I am the guy doing the lecherous yells.

More trivia! On "Inertia" there are three drummers. I'm playing the intro. Laura bethita plays the body of the song and Petetita Curry plays the outro.
