Robi Biloderic of the Bitch Boys has a reputation of being a real Joker, so after we swapped several emails he sent me his verbal answers to a long list of questions in MP3 form. On the day of the show, I would ask these questions over the air then play his response. The result appeared to be a live interview with him in the KCR studio in San Diego. I received several phone calls from fans wanting to talk to him, but he wasnt taking any phone calls until after the interview, then he had to leave abruptly. The interview came off pretty smooth and we had most, if not all, of you fooled. Clint Joined: Jul 16, 2006 Posts: 1493 San Diego	Posted on Jul 03 2010 03:00 PM Sorry for the multiple posts of the same message, I just want everyone in the world to see this Its been almost two years since KCR radio cut its internet stream. Ive been hoping the problems would be resolved, but my hope for that only fades with each passing month. So, I have finally gotten my act together and decided to do a PODCAST!! Beginning today, please visit: http://www.rickshawrecords.com/adayatthebeach and check it out! I will continue to call the show A Day at the Beach, but it has nothing to do with KCR. I will still do the show from KCR every Thursday, but I plan on changing the format a bit probably 50/50 with vocals and instros. If KCR does return to the internet, Ill probably return to the all instro format. One of my main concerns with doing a podcast is the legal aspect of it. As silly as that may sound, it is still a concern. However, I think I know the surf/instro community well enough to know that most all surf bands would love to have their songs played to the masses in any type of media without any demand for royalties. With that in mind, I feel safe playing any music from bands that have sent me CD to play on the radio show. I plan on contacting bands who actually make their living off their music and get their OK to play their songs on the podcast. I do ask your help when it comes to bands that no longer exist. Does anyone know if Im legally obligated to get permission from the owners of music from bands such as The Sentinals, The Chantays, The Original Surfaris, etc.? On one hand, I dont want to break any podcasting laws, but on the other hand Im thinking who would care enough to actually take legal action about having their song played on an obscure podcast that only a handful of people will listen to. Any comments are welcome. But for now, its exciting for me to be back, to this degree anyway.
