Posted on Apr 19 2010 05:41 PM There is a Marriot Hotel pretty close to the starting gate, and a motel down the street (Katella) called the Turf Motel, there are literally thousands of motels in OC. I would suggest inland a ways to save some money. But not too close to Disneyland or Knotts berry farm, as the price may start to go back up a bit, as you get close to them. — Jeff(bigtikidude) Top

On a more serious note I found the Staybridge Suites on Manchester Avenue, Anaheim ,a good place to stay. Good rooms ,all you can eat breakfast included in tarriff. Walking distance to Disneyland, Garden Walk Center, Bestbuy, and the Block at Orange. Crappy motels in O.C. go for $70 a night-- for that same price I got rooms at the ****Fairmont Resort in Newport Beach for next weekend.
